Event to take place on September 8

American football’s premier competition, the NFL, may be in pre-season mode ahead of the new campaign, but it’s a similar story for one team a lot closer to home.

Wembley Stallions’ women’s team are busy planning for their new campaign, which is set to feature several tournaments as well as matches in the Sapphire Series 2A South.

Before that, though, the club are hosting a special taster session next month in a bid to get new players into the game.

The session takes place on September 8 from 10am to midday at the club’s training base at the London Post Office Sport & Social Association grounds in Greenford Road, Wembley.

It is hoped the event is attended by many prospective players, which would be a boost for Stallions ahead of the new season.
