Paddington’s Tin-Tin Ho leads the England squad at the European Championships in Luxembourg next week.

The 19-year-old competes with fellow Commonwealth Games medalist Kelly Sibley, as well as Karina Le Fevre and Maria Tsaptsinos.

The team qualified for the second-tier Challenge Division and face group matches against Slovenia, Greece and Israel, starting on Wednesday.

Head of talent & performance Simon Mills said: “It is a chanec to start the building process for a busy period, including the Team World Cup in February, the Commonwealth Games in April and the World Team Championships just after that.”

England have rested top men Paul Drinkhall and Liam Pitchford, with Rio Olympian Sam Walker, David McBeath, Helshan Weerasinghe and teenager Tom Jarvis in action.

They will face Denmark, Ireland and the Netherlands in their Challenge Division group and Mills added: “We’ve taken the decision to rest Paul and Liam and blood Tom and Helsham with an eye on their personal development and England’s future.”
