Greelands Lane club lost at home to UCS Old Boys last weekend

Hendon will look to return to winning ways in Herts/Middlesex One on Saturday when they visit Saracens Amateurs.

The Greenlands Lane club had hoped to build on a win in their opening game when they welcomed UCS Old Boys last weekend.

Instead, Hendon suffered a first defeat of the campaign as they ended the match on the wrong end of a 35-29 score line.

Donal O’Sullivan and Will Theaker both scored a brace of tries in defeat for the Greelands Lane club, with Mike Culhane also crossing for the home team.

Despite the result, Hendon were able to collect two bonus points for losing by less than seven points and by scoring at least four tries.

The Greelands Lane club, though, will want to collect at least four points for beating Saracens Amateurs on Saturday.

And any success for be the perfect response from Hendon after the disappointment of losing for the first time this season.
