Two former British and European champions paid a visit to Neasden ABC’s gym last week.

Ian Napa, who won a series of ABA championships as well as keeping the Lonsdale belt, and Ajose Olusegun, who boxed for Nigeria at the Olympics, led a session with the Neasden boxers at their IQ base.

The pair sparred and got on the pads, before having a round the table discussion with the young boxers in attendance about their respective journeys from amateur to professional boxing, giving an insight into making it at the highest level.

Napa and Olusegun then took the time to pose for photographs with every boxer from the club.

Coach Xavier Miller expressed his gratitude to the pair for giving up their free time.

Miller told the Times: “It has been a dream of mine to have both of these guys visiting the gym at the same time, I had been planning this, so I’m delighted it has finally come off.”
