National League South club bring young defender to Grosvenor Vale on one-month deal

Leyton Orient head coach Steve Davis has allowed young defender Aron Pollock to join Wealdstone on a one-month loan.

The 19-year-old has yet to feature for O’s this season and as a result has linked up with the National League South club.

It is understood the defender has signed in time to represent the Stones in tomorrow’s clash with Chelmsford City.

Pollock struggled with injuries last season, but showed his potential towards the end of the campaign with a number of strong displays.

The young centre back performed admirably under ex-boss Omer Riza and will hope to show more of that form at Wealdstone.

Stones won their opening game of the season at home to Concord Rangers, but have now gone three fixtures without a victory.

Pollock will hope to change that and impress enough while at Grosvenor Vale to show Davis he is a viable option at centre back for O’s.
