Wealdstone have been drawn away to Harrogate Town or Billericay Town in the quarter-final of the FA Trophy with the tie set to be played on February, 24.

The Stones reached the last eight of the competition after sealing a 2-1 victory against Evo-Stik Premier Division Warrington Town on Saturday.

A brace from Danny Green sealed Bobby Wilkinson’s men progress through the final round of the Trophy at St George’s Stadium and earn their the reward of a clash against National League North outfit Harrogate or Bostik Premier Division leaders Billericay Town.

Green opened the scoring midway through the second half from the penalty spot after Eddie Oshodi went down in the box.

Joseph Piggott equalised in the 82nd minute and looked to be sending the tie to a Tuesday night replay in Cheshire but Yellows keeper Anthony McMillan spilled Green’s 88th minute effort into his own net.

Wilkinson’s men will now have to wait to see who wins between Billericay Town or Harrogate Town tomorrow evening at the AGP Arena.
