Stones squad reported back for training earlier this week

Wealdstone begin their pre-season friendlies on Saturday when they make the trip to Bracknell Town.

The Stones squad reported back for pre-season training earlier this week as boss Bobby Wilkinson looks to get his charges in shape ahead of the new National League South campaign.

It has certainly been a warm return to training for Wealdstone, with soaring temperatures this week.

Saturday is also expected to be very hot, meaning it could be a tiring afternoon for the Grosvenor Vale outfit away to the Robins, who will ply their trade in the Bostik South Central.

Wilkinson is currently taking charge of his first pre-season campaign as Wealdstone boss, having taken over as manager last August.

The Stones chief will hope to have a successful pre-season to get his charges prepared for the new league season, the fixtures of which are due to be released on July 4 when Wealdstone will find out their opening opponents.
