St Panteleimon capped off a memorable season as they remained unbeaten in their championship winning campaign with a 3-1 victory against Fire United Christian FC.

The Middlesex County League Division One champions got off to a strong start and found themselves 1-0 up early on thanks to a goal from Albadri.

A Fire United corner was met with a strong header, making it 1-1, and the Saints knew they had to battle.

But in the second half, they managed to control the ball, relax, and put some passes together as it all came good again.

A wonderful passing move saw top scorer Nikos Salapatas set up Albadri to head in skilfully for his second.

And a long shot from Ibadat Mohammedi found its way between the near post and the goalkeeper to complete the scoring.

After the game, it was declared that the Saints have been awarded next week’s final game, as the opposition cannot field a team.
