North London transfer round-up: Arsenal mean business; Tottenham stay quiet; QPR January sale

Archant London reporters sat down to chat about all the latest transfer news and gossip across north London.

Group Sports Editor and Arsenal fan Lee Power talks about the Gunners comings and goings with the hotest topic being the Alexis Sanchez saga, why he stay or will he go?

We also spoke to him about Theo Walcott’s departure and whether or not Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere will stay at the club.

Over the other side of north London, there wasn’t as much to talk about with Spurs correspondent George Sessions, as like most seasons the Lilywhites seem to remain fairly quiet in the winter window.

However, we did chat about possible moves in the future and what bright young talents could be brought to the club to flourish under manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Lower down, we caught up with Ned Keating about the Hoops business so far, and what seems to be a big January clear-out of the unwanted amongst Ian Holloway’s squad.
