Newcastle have spent recent months attempting to negotiate a new contract with Demba Ba which would remove the clause and that remains on the table as the striker continues to be linked with a move away from St James’ Park.
However, manager Pardew insisted that the club would not do so indefinitely with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and QPR allegedly hovering.
He said: “The situation with that is that it’s getting close to the point where we say ‘no more’, but the offer is still there.”
Brent’s under-15 boys became the first team from the borough to reach two cup finals in the same season as they held on to beat Blackheath.
