Bostik Premier: Leatherhead 1 Hendon 2

Hendon made sure of a top-five finish in the Bostik Premier with a 2-1 win at Leatherhead.

The Greens took the lead in the 11th minute at Fetcham Grove when Sam Murphy found the target for his first goal of the season.

It was a lead Gary McCann’s men would take into the break, but Jack Midson drew the Tanners level in the 63rd minute.

With the game seemingly heading for a draw, Murphy scored again in stoppage time to hand the Silver Jubilee Park outfit a hugely significant triumph.

The win means Hendon are guaranteed a place in the play-offs, but the Greens still have hopes of also securing home advantage in the semi-finals.

Leatherhead: Agboola, Clohessy, Shaw, McManus, Gallagher, Nnamani, Boakye-Yiadom, Theobalds, Derry, Midson, Richards.

Subs: Wood, Davies, Williams-Bowers, Seager.

Hendon: Lovelock, Hammond, Sprague, Lee, Bray, Eggleton, Nathaniel-George, Diedhiou, Walker, Muir, Murphy.

Subs: Uchechi, Tingey, Wise, Ball, Cole.
