Greens make the trip to Enfield Town on Saturday

Hendon finalise their preparations for the new Evo-Stik South Premier South season with one last friendly at Bostik Premier outfit Enfield Town on Saturday.

The Greens will be hoping for a better result this weekend after going down 3-1 to Cheshunt of the Bostik South Central on Tuesday night.

James Gray’s men had taken the lead in that fixture, but ultimately went on to lose to the Ambers.

However, the Silver Jubilee Park outfit did triumph on Saturday when the beat Uxbridge, also of the Bostik South Central, 2-0.

The past week has also seen another addition to the Hendon squad, with winger Taishan Griffith joining.

The former Bedford Town midfielder had featured for the Greens during pre-season and has clearly convinced Gray he has the quality required to be a success.

Griffith could feature again on Saturday when the Silver Jubilee Park outfit make the trip to former divisional rivals Enfield’s Donkey Lane.
