Greens beat Hanwell Town in Middlesex Senior Cup in midweek after defeat at Salisbury in Evo-Stik South Premier South last weekend

Hendon turn their attentions to the FA Trophy on Saturday as they play host to Evo-Stik South Premier Central outfit Biggleswade Town.

The Greens head into the game off the back of a 1-0 victory at Bostik South Central club Hanwell Town in the second round of the Middlesex Senior Cup on Tuesday night.

Ricardo German netted the only goal of the game as James Gray’s men made a successful start to the defence of their title.

That allowed the Silver Jubilee Park club to bounce back following a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Salisbury City last weekend, despite taking the lead through Connor Calcutt.

With attentions now turning to the Trophy, Hendon will hope to collect the £4,000 on offer for winners of ties in the second qualifying round.

And the Greens will hope they can progress without the need of a replay, which would take place in midweek after Saturday’s initial game should one be required.
