Hendon to host Staines in FA Trophy

The draw for the first qualifying round of the FA Trophy has been made

Hendon will host Evo-Stik South Premier South rivals Staines Town in the first qualifying round of the FA Trophy.

The draw for the first qualifying round was made on Monday afternoon, with teams from the seventh tier of English football entering the competition.

The Greens have been handed a home draw against their divisional rivals and will be hoping to clean up against the Swans.

Haringey Borough of the Bostik Premier also have a home tie to look forward to, with Evo-Stik South Premier South outfit Chesham United set to visit Coles Park.

Harrow Borough of the Evo-Stik South Premier South have been drawn away from home, with Steve Baker’s men given a trip to Biggleswade Town of the Evo-Stik South Premier Central.

Bostik Premier outfit Wingate & Finchley are also on the road after being drawn away to Sittingbourne of the Bostik South East.

Ties in the first qualifying round are due to take place over the weekend of October 27, with winners of those ties pocketing £3,250 in prize money.
