FA Cup: Wealdstone, Hendon and Haringey drawn at home

Wealdstone have been drawn a tricky test in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup as they were drawn at home to National League side Sutton United.

The Stones will welcome Paul Doswell’s side to Grovesnor Vale on Saturday, October, 20 and will be keen to go against the odds by causing an upset.

Bobby Wilkinson’s side will also be keen to bag the £25,000 in prize money to help boost the club finances and help with their current National League South campaign.

They’ve already been in the competition for two rounds of the cup as they sealed a 2-0 victory against Bostik North side Great Wakering Rovers in the second qualifying round before winning 2-1 against Hungerford Town in the third qualifying round.

Hendon were also in the hat for the draw despite still having to travel away to Chippenham Town for their third qualifying round draw on Wednesday evening.

If they are successful they will play host to National League outfit Maidenhead United in the fourth qualifying round of the competition.

Haringey Borough were also drawn at home to either Poole Town or Horsham after they progressed through the third qualifying round on the weekend.

Chinedu McKenzie continued his sensational form in the FA Cup this season with a brace for Haringey Borough to send them into the fourth qualifying round of the competition with a 2-1 win over AFC Sudbury on Saturday.
