Archant

Wembley’s Youssef Khoumari celebrated a win on his professional debut at York Hall on Saturday.

The 21-year-old lightweight faced Andy Harris on a Goodwin promotion at the famous London venue.

And Khoumari came out on top in the four-round contest with 55-fight veteran Harris courtesy of a technical knockout.

Former Dale Youth amateur Daniel Dubois will compete for the vacant Southern Area title on Frank Warren’s big promotion at the Copper Box Arena on Saturday.

Heavyweight Dubois, 19, already holds the World WBC Youth title and is unbeaten in his first four fights in the paid ranks, winning all of them inside the distance.

And he goes up against Brixton’s AJ Carter, who has won eight of his 11 contests to date, with six inside the distance, on a bill topped by the WBO world middleweight title clash between Billy Joe Saunders and American Willie Monroe Jr.
