Former Dale Youth ABC starlet Dan-Dan Keenan returns to the ring for his third professional fight at York Hall on Saturday.

Keenan, who gave up a career in football in November 2015 to sign a three-year contract with Goodwin Promotions, fights Bulgarian Teodor Chudinov.

The 19-year-old won his first two professional fights, against Jack Green on points in March, and Dwayne Shelton in May.

Keenan told the Times: “I feel confident – I’m training hard and I feel in even better shape than I did for my first two fights. I don’t know too much about Chudinov, but my stablemate beat him back in May so I’ll be having a word with him.

“But whoever I fight I’m feeling good; strong, fast, fit and I know I’m a better all-round boxer.”
