Stallions to face Renegades in Leeds on Sunday

Wembley Stallions face one of the biggest games in the club’s history this weekend when they take on Berkshire Renegades in the final of the BAFC SFC2 on Sunday.

Both sides will be making a long trip north for the game, which will take place at the John Charles Centre for Sport in Leeds at midday.

Victory over Renegades would see Stallions complete a perfect season, having won every game thus far.

Since being formed in 2013, Wembley had qualified for the play-offs in each of the past three seasons, though only made it past the quarter-finals for the first time this term.

In the quarter-finals, Stallions won 27-0 against Hertfordshire Cheetahs, before a 33-6 success against Portsmouth Dreadnoughts in the final four, with Wembley enjoying home advantage in both fixtures.

It will be tough, though, against a Berkshire side who themselves have lost just once this season heading into Sunday’s final in Leeds.
