Labour kept all three seats up for grabs in the deferred Willesden Green election held yesterday.

The Labour Party’s three candidates, Tom Miller, Elliot Chappell and Fleur Donnelly-Jackson were all elected meaning that the party holds all but three seats on Brent Council.

Labour increased their vote share by 24.2 per cent in what was a landslide victory - they took 67.2pc of votes cast.

The election was delayed after the death of former Willesden Green councillor Lesley Jones who had been set to run again, having served on the council for two decades.

Tom Miller will serve a second four year term, whilst Fleur Donnelly-Jackson and Elliot Chappell - who was only selected in the weeks leading up the vote - are both first-time councillors.
