Kilburn could become its own constituency, and is set to split from Hampstead according to proposed boundary changes.

The boundary review, ordered in 2013 would see Tulip Siddiq’s seat of Hampstead and Kilburn split, to become their own separate constituencies.

The new Kilburn seat will take part of Karen Buck’s Westminster North seat, which will be abolished, and part the Cities of London and Westminster constituency,

Brent Central will be carved up as part of a new Willesden and Shepherd’s Bush seat.

The rest of Dawn Butler’s seat will be absorbed into a new Wembley constituency.

Brent North would be split into Wembley, and the new Harrow South and Kenton seat.

Hampstead would become its own seat for the first time since 1979.

To replace the current boundaries, the proposals would have to pass a vote in the House of Commons amid Labour and Liberal Democrat objections.
