QPR owner Tony Fernandes has hit out at the players describing them as ‘spineless’ after the 3-2 defeat to Blackburn at Ewood Park on Saturday.

Rangers were three goals down at the break and the chairman pulled no punches when assessing the opening 45 minutes.

“The worst 45 mins I have seen since I became chairman of QPR,” he tweeted.

“Talent is one thing. Being able to cope with the pressures of talent is key.

“Everyone needs a spine to take the pressures of life. We need a spine in QPR. We need fighters not just talent.”

The defeat has left QPR 16th in the table level on points with third bottom Wolves.
