QPR’s on loan left back Taye Taiwo wants to make a permanent switch to Loftus Road from AC Milan.

The Nigerian is with Rangers until the end of the season, but is keen to stay with the west London club.

“The fans didn’t believe in me in Italy but I’m happy here and QPR want to sign me on a permanent basis,” he said.

Taiwo only joined Milan at the beginning of the season, but failed to break into their first team on a regular basis, making just four appearances.
