Chris and Miranda Mason will raise money for cancer charities

A couple from Willesden who transformed their garden and opened it to the public in aid of charity will be hosting visitors again this month.

Chris and Miranda Mason have become well known faces in the area for their open garden sessions.

The couple moved into their home at 208 Walm Lane nearly 20 years ago and set about transforming what as an overgrown back yard into a horticultural paradise.

The garden, which features shrubbery, trees a water fountain and a fish pond has played host to guests for seven years.

During the visits the couple will raise money for National Garden Scheme Yellow Book which raises money for charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Help the Hospices and Cross Roads Care.

The garden will be open for the weekend of June 22 and June 23 from 2 till 7pm on both days.
