Man in hospital suffering gunshot wound

A man is recovering in hospital from gunshot wounds following a shooting in Kilburn.

Police were called to Chippenham Gardens at around 2.50am on Friday September 22 to reports of a gunshot.

The victim was taken to hospital and is currently in a non-life threatening condition recovering from the injuries.

Operation Trident, who investigate gun crime in London, has taken over the case and anyone with information should call police on 0208 733 4218 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
