Mayhew are searching for the most photogenic pet to star on the front cover of their spring magazine, to mark World Animal Day.

The animal rescue charity, from Kensal Green are inviting owners to show off their favourite photos of their pets. There are three categories to choose from; ‘Golden Oldies’, ‘Best Selfie’ and ‘Perfect Pawtrait’. Winners will receive a goody bag as well as an appearance on the front of Mayhew’s spring edition.

Entries will be judged by renowned British photographer, Rankin, who has shot covers for magazines including Harpers Bazaar, Rolling Stone and GQ.

To enter, choose a category and share your photo using the hashtag #WADcomp on Twitter (@themayhew), Instagram (@themayhew) or Facebook (@mayhew).

You can submit as many photos as you like.

Entries should be submitted before midnight on October 4.
