Brutal thugs left a family terrified after breaking into their home and assaulting a father.

Two yobs, both black men who are believed to have driven from the scene in a dark blue Volvo XC90 4x4, broke into the building in Springfield Road, St John's Wood, at 8.30 am on Wednesday August 20.

A number of valuable items were taken.

Robbers break man's ankle

Violent robbers ripped a chain from an elderly man's neck and caused him to break his ankle.

The victim was walking down Church Road, Willesden, at 11:30 am on Wednesday 20 August when he was attacked from behind by three men.

The attackers, who were described as black males in their early twenties, made off towards the market at Old Church Road.

Woman makes lock-out con

A woman aged 59 from Essex Road in Brent, was approached by a suspect at 9pm last week, who knocked on her door claiming she was locked out of her own house and needed to contact her mother.

The suspect fled the house and the victim found that her purse had been stolen.

She has been described as an Asian woman aged about 28, 4ft 9ins tall, with shoulder length black hair.
