Bolder Voices have set up a facebook page ahead of their sixth musical video

A pensioners’ choir in Kensal Green is asking older people to post pictures of their active lifestyles on their new social media page for their latest video.

Bolder Voices, a choir for over 65’s who meet weekly in Mortimer Road, have set up a Facebook page, to collect images and very short footage for their sixth musical video “I’m Alive.”

Clair Chapwell, who wrote the song, said: “We are looking for some inspirational images of older people and hoping people will post pictures of themselves or someone they know being fabulous.

“Sailing? climbing every mountain? Still on a zip wire? Playing tennis? Jumping out of a plane? Giving speeches? Line dancing? Tap dancing?

“Bollywood dancing? Painting the town red? Laughing uproariously? Marching for a cause?

“We have young people in the video but being 20 or 40 years old can be quite hard in terms of stresses. Going grey isn’t an indication that life is going to turn sour. People from all over the world are doing something amazing and we want to see it.”

The images will appear during an instrumental section in the video which will be shot in February. Go to
