A girl from Ark Elvin Academy who recieved seven A*s and two As in her GCSE results has said how she “really didn’t expect,” to get the results she did.

“I don’t know how I feel,” said Hinal Kumar.

“To be honest I revised mostly just in the few days before the exams. I regret doing it that way, and I would recommend to others to start revising early, but I did great.”

“I don’t know what I want to do later on- obviously I want to go to 6th form and university, but I’m not sure where yet. I already showed my mum my results. She was happy, she told me ‘go show your teachers.’ The school helped me a lot”.

Other student success stories from the day included Dilan Hirani, who got seven A*s and two Bs, and Karissa Govender, who scored three As, five Bs and a C.
