Swaminarayan school’s outstanding success includes a pupil who scooped 11A* grades

A school in Neasden is celebrating after more than 60 per cent of their pupils were awarded A*s and As this morning, along with a 100 A* C pass rate in their GCSE exams.

The pupils, from the Swaminarayan school in Brentfield Road, were left delighted following a record year for the school.

In addition to the stunning A* A grade pass rate, 85.7 per cent of pupils achieved A* to B grades.

Mahendra Savjani, the school’s delighted principal said: “Each year our results are better than the previous year.

“We are very proud of these results and congratulate the students, parents, teachers and governors who have all worked together towards excellence in every aspect of school life.”

Among the top achievers included Amar Vadgama, who was scooped 11A*s and one A and Kushali Shingala, who was given A*s across the board in her 11 subjects.

Mr Savjani continued: “Because the students at The Swaminarayan School are extremely well behaved and focused and their parents very supportive they are able to reach their full potential.

“Add to that a very dedicated and talented staff and you have these superb results.”
