Music artiste will appear in the dock with four teenagers

A Stonebridge rapper accused of attempted murder months after being signed up by Jay Z will stand trial in October.

Kevin Georgiou, who is known as ‘K Koke’, was charged with shooting a footballer on March 9 after the police raided his home last month.

The 25-year-old was on the brink of international stardom after being signed to the hip hop mogul’s record label Roc Nation in January.

Georgiou is one of five people who will appear in the dock charged with gunning down the 27-year-old man.

The victim had travelled to the borough from south London to take part in a football project in the pavilion in Stonebridge.

He was rushed to hospital after he was shot in the foyer of the station and has since been discharged.

Two 16-year-old males, a 17-year-old male and a 17-year-old female appeared for a second time in court last Thursday (21) charged with attempted murder.

All four teenagers were remanded in custody for a plea and management hearing at Blackfriars crown court on May 27.

Georgiou will appear in the dock beside them at the hearing.

A trial date has been set for October.

A 20-year-old who was also arrested in connection with the shooting has been bailed to return to a police station later this month.

Detectives are appealing for information about the shooting.

Anyone with information should call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 and quote incident 296 of 09/03/10 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
