Three women have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old woman in Kilburn.

Mohanna Abdhou, known to her family and friends as Montana, was gunned down in Malvern Road on May 26 by two men on bicycles.

The three women were arrested on Thursday on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, police said.

A 20-year-old and 21-year old have been bailed and a 25-year-old female has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

It brings the total number of people arrested over the killing to six.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at the scene of the shooting and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Two other men, 19 and 20, were arrested in west London on suspicion of murder on May 31 and bailed.

Montana, described as “a beautiful and caring soul” by her family, was with her friends close to a children’s playground near Dickens House when they were approached by two males on bicycles.

Both the men were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered, Scotland Yard said.

One of the men fired a gun towards the group and Montana was hit before they both fled along Malvern Road heading into Shirland Mews.

A Crimestoppers reward is still on offer to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the killing.

It is applicable only for information passed directly to Crimestoppers rather than the police, officers said.
