A man has been arrested after three women were assaulted and a shop window smashed during a ‘rampage’ in Kilburn High Road.

The 39-year-old was held on suspicion of criminal damage and assault following the incident yesterday afternoon 1pm.

A witness, who asked not to be named, said: “He was going on a rampage and it took a lot of policemen to arrest him.

“I just hope no one was injured.”

One of the women, aged in her 30s, did not require hospital treatment.

Police are appealing for the two other women to come forward.

A Met police spokesman said: “Officers are still trying to trace two women who were potential victims and are appeal for them or anyone who has information to come forward.”

The man is currently in custody at a police station in north west London.
