A man has been violently beaten and robbed at knifepoint by two men who forced their way into his home in Kenton.

The 23-year-old was punched several times in the face, suffering a fractured nose, and threatened with a knife as the pair ransacked the property in Woodgrange Close.

During the robbery the men demanded he showed them were the gold and cash were kept while they rummaged through each room stealing goods including computers, phones and watches.

Before they fled they frogmarched the victim into his living room where they forced him to lay on the floor warning him not to call the police as they had accomplices watching the property.

The first robber is white with a beard, approximately 25, 6ft, slim and wearing a blue jacket, a royal blue hoodie with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and sunglasses.

The second is black about 25, 6ft, slim and wearing a black tracksuit.

Trainee Detective Constable Sarah Mendel-Lion is appealing fro anyone with information about the attack which took place on June 17 at 2.30pm to come forward.

She said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victim.”
