Christopher Walters, Loen Burton and Abdi Aziz Hassan will learn their fate at the Old Bailey

Three men who stabbed to death a roofer from Dollis Hill and seriously injured his father are due to be sentenced today.

Luke Fitzpatrick was killed and his 56-year-old father Bernard was seriously injured as he cradled his dying son in Alder Grove, Dollis Hill, on May 19 last year.

Last month at the Old Bailey, Christopher Walters, 23, of Lovett Way, on the St Raphael’s Estate in Neasden, and Loen Burton, 17, from Mill Hill, were found guilty of his murder.

Abdi Aziz Hassan, 17, of Warren Road, Cricklewood, was convicted of manslaughter.

They were also found guilty of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in relation to Bernard Fitzpatrick.

Jurors heard Mr Fitzpatrick, a 25-year-old Arsenal fan, was watching the Champions League Final at the Ox and Gate pub in nearby Coles Green Road when a hooded mob tried to storm the building.

Some of drinkers chased them but he was fatally wounded. When his father came to his aid he was stabbed but survived.

Walters also admitted violent disorder while Burton and Hassan denied the charge but were found guilty.

Mustafa Bereima, 20, of Banting House in Ainsworth Close, Dollis Hill, and brothers Ali and Hamadi Abdallah, 20 and 26 respectively, both of Mackenzie House, also in Ainsworth Close, were convicted of violent disorder.

Raphael De Jesus, 25, of Eldridge Close, Feltham, was found guilty of assisting an offender but acquitted of violent disorder.

All seven will be sentenced at the Old Bailey.
