Kilburn duo arrested after Chalcots’ tower woman murdered

Two people from Kilburn have been arrested after a woman was stabbed to death in a flat on the Chalcots Estate, in Belsize Park.

A 43-year-old woman, and a 28-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of murder at separates addresses in Kilburn, on the morning of Sunday February 11.

The woman who was found dead has been named as Hannah Leonard, 55, who lived on Fellows Road.

Her body was discovered inside a flat in Bray Tower on Fellows Road by police at around 10:30am on Friday February 9.

A post-mortem is due to take place today, at St Pancras Mortuary.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) investigate led by Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall.
