Drugs and deadly weapons found hidden in bushes in South Kilburn

A deadly stash of weapons that could kill or maim have been found hidden in bushes and shrubs in South Kilburn today.

Police also seized 25 wraps of cannabis during a day of action in Peel Precinct which included a weapons sweep that uncovered the hidden items.

Two knives one with a 20cm blade and the other around 10cm and a pair of scissors are among the weapons that were found.

PC Tom Surr from Kilburn Park Safer Neighbourhood Team revealed the find on social networking website Twitter saying: “Excellent morning of weapons sweeps in Peel Precinct #Kilburn, with colleagues from #Trident. Knives and drugs recovered + a stop and search.”

He also tweeted a picture of the drugs and one with him and the weapons.
