Jason De Sousa, 21, was arrested yesterday and will appear at Hendon Magistrates Court today while a 20-year-old has been bailed until March.
Police were called to Heathfield Gardens at around 7.15pm last Friday, February 17, after reports that a group of men were fighting.
Joseph Olopo, from Colindale, was found close to Brent Cross Station suffering from a stab wound to his neck.
The 21-year-old was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. A post-mortem examination on Sunday February 19 gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the neck.
De Sousa, of no fixed address, was arrested yesterday, February 22, before being charged with Mr Olopo’s murder and will appear in court today.
A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of violent disorder on February 21 has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in early March.
Previously two other males, aged 20 and 17, were arrested near to the scene on suspicion of affray.
The 20-year-old was later released on bail until a date in early March.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, led by Detective Chief Inspector Andy Chalmers, are investigating and appealing for witnesses and information.
