A Christmas tree caused a traffic nightmare for thousand of drivers on the North Circular Road in Neasden this morning.

Motorists were forced to slow down after a tree obstructed the A406 at the junction of Randall Avenue during the rush hour.

Angry drivers took to social networking website Twitter to express their anger.

Kace @KC_GHOST_ tweeted: “Omg I’m going to be late for work this morning because of traffic in neasden.”

OHJ. @OmaimaHj_ said: “The traffic in Neasden is absolutely ridiculous.”

The tree was removed three hours later.
